Last weekend I visited the Salone del Mobile in Milan. Tonon presented itself with a great fair stand and again showcased the next level prototype of my secretary Kabinett.
At the imm Cologne, Tonon presented a first prototype of my secretary Kabinett. Kabinett is one part of my master thesis and Tonon will present the next version of it at the Milan furniture fair.

In october I visited the well-known Italian furniture brand Tonon.
This partnership could potentially lead into the first serially manufactured piece of furniture with a background in the “experience and interaction” theory and “aesthetics of interaction”. A design prototype was already send to Italy, so that by now the furniture can be industrialized.
For my master thesis I designed two secretarys following the rules of experience design and including the sensation of touch. They had been presented on the interzum 17 at the new platform called "material transformation" organized by the VDI.
While studiying at the Folkwang university I joined the experience & interaction workgroup of Marc Hassenzahl as a studant assistant.
Working at the Fraunhofer Umsicht in Oberhausen gave me the chance to get in touch with lots of different materials and textures at the haptic experiment platform (Haptikversuchsstand). The intended aim is it to create hapticaly better perfoming materials for the plastics industry.
